Digital Microscope Leica DMS1000 B

A preconfigured digital microscope system that is ideal for working in laminar flow cabinets as required in demanding research applications like in vitro fertilization (IVF).

The Leica DMS1000 B includes a digital microscope that is combined with a camera, a transmitted light base (TL3000 ST and TL5000 Ergo, respectively) and all further accessories that make the DMS1000 B the out-of-the box solution for researchers and medical doctors. The high-quality optics provides a magnification of up to 300x to visualize even the tiniest details on your sample. The built-in HD camera provides a full HD live image with up to 30fps and a capture resolution of 5 Mpixels.

The Leica DMS1000 B can be used as a stand-alone unit without the need for a computer.

Preconfigured System
The Leica DMS1000 B is a system that combines microscope, camera, transmitted light base and heating stage under one article number to work out-of-the box. Two different transmitted light bases (TL3000 ST and TL5000 Ergo) can be selected allowing advanced contrasting for crystal clear images.

Standalone Operation
The Leica DMS1000 B settings are customizable via an IR wireless remote control. Functions such as capture / review images or movie clips can be selected by a simple push of the button. The built-in CMOS camera can capture 5 Mpixel still images or Full-HD movie clips within seconds directly to a SD card without the need for a computer.

No Eyepieces Needed
The built-in HD camera allows the user to visualize and to capture images of biological samples on a HD screen without the need for eyepieces. Therefore the DMS1000 B is ideal for work in closed laminar flow cabinets required for applications like in vitro fertilization (IVF) or stem cell research. Closed flow cabinets minimize the risk of cross-contamination of the sample while protecting the user from exposure to potential harmful substances.

Ergonomic
The Leica DMS1000 B is inherently ergonomic! This is due to the fact that the output is completely digital and no eyepieces need to be adjusted for each user. The monitor can quickly and easily be adjusted for multiple users.

Fast Live Image
Fast, high-resolution live image in full HD resolution with up to 30 fps. This nearly eliminates any image delays because of the camera, making quick checks and for example pipetting of biological samples simple and easy.

Built-in Encoded Zoom
The encoded zoom feature of the Leica DMS1000 B allows the user to acquire calibrated images including a scale bar that automatically adjusts for each zoom setting to be used for quick checks saving time and effort for the user.
